White Glass, Swirlback
Background/Story
This little old button came up when our button club talked about “cobalt blue” glass buttons.
When you enter this button in a competition, be careful — although it looks blue on the front, it should be entered as a white button (unless the award allows otherwise) because the official NBS classification dictates that the color of a glass button is “judged by the base/back of the button”.
For more details, refer to the National Button Society Blue Book (NBS member resource)
