This plastic button featuring the letter “V” for victory might be from the 1940s.During World War II any mention of the V was a reference to victory and the end to the war.

US military has relegated the Morse code as obsolete for quite some time.

but the Morse code was invented over 100 earlier in the 1830s after the telegraph was invented. Morse code spells letters of the alphabet, numerals, and punctuation marks by an arrangement of dots dashes, and spaces.
