Background/Story
A 1/2 page advertisement for this card of buttons appears on page 58 of The Dry Goods Report, Volume 46, Issue 2, dated July 3, 1915, and also on page 8 of the Dry Goods Economist, Volume 70, Issues 3730, dated January 1, 1916.  This ‘new’ line of washable buttons made to match their plain and striped colored tapes was for lingerie and other wash garments.
This 100-year-old card of a dozen fabric buttons was found in September 2016 at an antique store near Olympia, Wa.
