DESCRIPTION:Oregon State Button Society \nAnnual Summer Picnic \n11:00 a.m.\nProgram: “Dorothy called them Goofies”\nAn outdoor (under covered pavilion) program on realistic buttons focusing on their historical significance. We all have realistics or goofies. Please bring your favorites to share. \n~12:00 p.m. Potluck Begins\nOSBS provides a meat entree and drinks. Members are encouraged to bring a potluck dish (entree\, salad\, vegetable\, fruit\, bread\, dessert\, etc.) and a smile. The Pavilion has space for preparation\, but not for cooking or oven warming. There are electrical plug-ins available so crockpots will work for warming. OSBS will provide paper plates and cups and disposable tableware. Feel free to bring your own re-usables to help out our environment. \n~ 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Button Sales\nAny OSBS member is welcome to sell buttons. No fee for button sales at our annual picnic. We will be outside this year under a covered shaded pavilion. \nPlease join us for this annual event. \nDirections: From the north\, travel SOUTH on I-5 to Albany Exit 234B\, travel 3 stoplights to Dairy Queen & turn LEFT onto Waverly Drive\, follow Waverly for ~ 3 miles. Cross the railroad tracks and turn LEFT into Mennonite Village on 47th Street. Continue 2 blocks past Quail Run. Turn LEFT on Davidson Street. The Pavilion will be on the RIGHT. Park along Davidson. \nDirections: From the south\, travel NORTH on I-5\, take Exit 228. Turn onto Hwy-34 toward Corvallis. Travel ~ 1 mile. Turn RIGHT onto Columbus Street SE\, follow for ~ 2.8 miles. Columbus becomes Waverly. Continue past the first Mennonite Village entrance and turn RIGHT into the LAST entrance into Mennonite Village onto 47th Street (if you cross the railroad tracks\, you have gone too far). Continue 2 blocks past Quail Run. Turn LEFT on Davidson Street. The Pavilion will be on the RIGHT. Park along Davidson.
