This cheerful teddy bear was adorned and festooned with golden buttons by Doug O’Leary who was a passionate collector of shamrock and Irish buttons. Doug brought boundless energy to our WRBA button shows and played a key role in running our lively evening programs. The bear’s exposed tummy—showing where its belly button could have been—playfully reflects Doug’s spirit. We miss him dearly and remain forever grateful for the button enthusiasm he left with us.
