Background/Story
1995 – Research for information on Maria Theresa including a button, stamp and coin. She was a strong woman who ruled for 40 years during a time when Europe was going through a lot of transformation, including many wars enabling some countries to annex others. I think she’s a fascinating subject – probably one of my favorites. On the full article – Button: Far Right, Token: Far Left, Two middle buttons are one-sided replicas with loop shanks. 1980 Stamps shown at the bottom of full page and bottom of half page. The coins were too expensive, so I used a Token.
