7-lobed Caucasian Niello

Description

Heavy Ccnical traditional niello made in the Caucasus, 1850-1900. Marked ’84’ on the side of the shank.

Background/Story

This conical-shaped 7-lobed piece is cast. Marked on the side of the shank with the standard mark 84 and the maker’s mark ‘AP’ in Cyrillic letters.
